| Biographie | Tuomo works with John Campbell and Peter Rathjens to advance Arrowstreet's research agenda, focusing on new signals and strategies based on both academic public-domain and proprietary quantitative research. Prior to joining Arrowstreet on a full-time basis, Tuomo held a position as an Associate Professor of Economics at Harvard University. Simultaneously with his Harvard appointment, Tuomo also served as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Tuomo's industry experience includes several years of consulting while at Harvard. In addition to working with Arrowstreet, he has advised other asset management organizations, such as a European private fund, a Finnish mutual-fund family, and other investment managers. Tuomo graduated from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with a doctoral degree in finance in 2000. | ||

| Biographie | Michelle is responsible for many of the functions associated with the day to day implementation of the firm’s investment strategies. Prior to assuming this role, Michelle was located in London and was responsible for Arrowstreet’s European client service efforts, as well as representing Arrowstreet strategies to investment consultants and prospects. Prior to joining Arrowstreet, Michelle was a Product Specialist at Wellington Management from 2005 to 2010. In this position, she worked closely with global and international investment teams on portfolio analytics and the communication of investment strategies. From 1997 to 2004, Michelle worked as a European Equity Analyst at Putnam Investments. Her responsibilities included using fundamental analysis to make investment recommendations across a range of industries. Michelle graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an M.B.A. in International Financial Analysis from the Wharton School and an M.A. in International Studies from the Lauder Institute in 2001. She received an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard University in 1994. Michelle is a CFA charterholder. | ||
