Stratégie d’investissement

Procurer un revenu élevé et une certaine croissance du capital tout en tentant de préserver ce dernier. Le Fonds est gere de manière à dégager un rendement qui suit de près celui de l'indice obligataire universel Scotia Capitaux. L'indice obligataire universel Scotia Capitaux comprend plus de 900 obligations canadiennes négociables visant à rendre compte du rendement de l'ensemble du marché canadien des obligations de bonne qualité.

Biographie	Gaurav Dhiman is responsible for corporate bond portfolio management. Prior to joining CIBC Am in 2018, Mr. Dhiman was a portfolio manager at Cumberland Private Wealth. Mr. Dhiman previously worked at Aviva Investors as a portfolio manager and BMO Capital Markets as a research analyst. Mr. Dhiman holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Biographie	Jacques Prévost joined CIBC Global Asset Management Inc. in June 1999. Jacques Prévost specializes in active corporate bond management applied to both asset-only and asset-liability portfolios. He also oversees a team responsible for quantitative and structured solutions, and contributes to the firm's research specialization model. Mr. Prévost holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Biographie	Dave Dayaratne is a portfolio manager who specializes in passive and enhanced passive bond management. Mr. Dayaratne runs our stratified sampling process and implements day-to-day management of passive strategies. Prior to joining CIBC Asset Management’s predecessor firm in 1994, Mr. Dayaratne held various positions at the firm including Equity Trader. He was also Portfolio Administrator at Canada Life Investment Management. Mr. Dayaratne holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree from York University and is also a CFA charterholder.

Biographie	Freda Dong is responsible for Canadian fixed income index fund management at Barclays Global Investors Canada Limited. Prior to joining the firm, Freda managed $5 billion in indexed and immunized fixed income portfolios for a large Canadian investment manager.
