Stratégie d’investissement

L’objectif d’investissement du Compartiment est de réaliser à long terme des gains en capital. Le Compartiment cherche à atteindre son objectif par une politique consistant à investir principalement en titres de capital et en certificats de dépôt de (i) sociétés à petite capitalisation immatriculées sur les Marchés Émergents, (ii) de sociétés à petite capitalisation exerçant une part importante de leur activité sur les Marchés Émergents et (iii) de sociétés holdings de petite capitalisation qui détiennent une part importante de leurs participations dans des sociétés mentionnées au sous-paragraphe (i). Aux fins de l’objectif d’investissement du Compartiment, les sociétés à petite capitalisation des Marchés Émergents sont normalement celles se situant, au moment de l’achat initial, dans la fourchette des capitalisations boursières des sociétés reprises à l’indice MSCI Emerging Markets Small Cap Index (l’Indice).

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2006, Mr. Chiranewal was a senior associate for Morgan Stanley's equity research team. Before his post-graduate diploma, he worked for McKinsey & Co.'s global research team. Mr. Chiranewal holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Delhi university and a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2006, Mr. Musialik worked for BDO, an audit firm. He entered the financial services industry in 2006. Mr. Musialik graduated in international economics from the Katowice School of Economics and in international business from Toulouse Business School (Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Toulouse). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds an investment advisor license from the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Musialik speaks Polish, English and French.

Biographie	Dennis Lim is Director of Research for Templeton Emerging Markets Group. He oversees the Emerging Market research team, ensures a consistent process across the platform and develops value-add ideas. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 1990, he worked for Singapore's Ministry of Natl Development. He entered the financial services industry in 1984 and holds an M.S. from the Univ. of Wisconsin and a B.S. from the Natl Univ. of Singapore. He speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Melayu.
