Biographie Mr. Thran currently serves as Associate Portfolio Manager and Assistant Treasurer of the Fund. Mr. Thran joined Bluerock in 2017 and currently serves as a Vice President of the Advisor. Mr. Thran works directly with the Fund’s Senior Portfolio Managers and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day investment operations and execution of the Fund’s strategy, including portfolio valuation, investment analysis, liquidity management and performance evaluation. Previously, Mr. Thran served at JPMorgan Asset Management from 2014 to 2016, directing daily oversight and controls on over $200 billion in retail mutual fund assets. From 2008-2014, Mr. Thran held multiple management roles at State Street Corporation, with a focus on accounting and compliance on the company’s premier ETFs and mutual fund clients. Mr. Thran received an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Investments from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and B.A. degrees in both Mathematics and Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.

Biographie Mr. Ruddy has served as a member of the Investment Committee and as President of Bluerock Fund Advisor, LLC since the inception of Bluerock Fund Advisor, LLC in 2012. He is also Director of Bluerock Asset Management, LLC since its inception in 2018. Mr. Ruddy brings approximately 30 years of institutional real estate investment experience working with some of leading public and private firms in the industry. Prior to BRRE, Mr. Ruddy served as a real estate investment banker at Bank of America Securities LLC, and at Smith Barney Inc. and at JP Morgan Chase (previously the Chase Manhattan Bank), and as Vice President of Amerimar Enterprises, a real estate company specializing in value-added investments nationwide. Mr. Ruddy received an M.B.A. degree in Finance and Real Estate in 1995 from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. degree with high honors in Economics in 1986 from the London School of Economics.

He serves as the Lead Economist of Bluerock Fund Advisors, LLC., positions he has held since 2013, having previously held the roles of Associate Economist. r. Lotterman was an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University from 2010 to 2012, where he taught Real Estate Market Analysis in the Masters of Real Estate Development program. From 2011 to 2012, Mr. Lotterman was Vice President, New Business Development of Forman Capital, a private commercial real estate lender. Prior to that, Mr. Lotterman worked as Senior Valuation Analyst at Bayview Asset Management (former hedge fund affiliate of The Blackstone Group) from 2010 to 2011. From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Lotterman was the Senior Analyst for Goodkin Consulting (former real estate consulting arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers) for the majority of his tenure, where he developed extensive experience in real estate consulting, research and analysis on a national level. Mr. Lotterman received an M.S. in International Real Estate in 2006 from Florida International University, where he graduated first in class, and a B.S. Degree in microbiology with a minor in chemistry in 1997 from the University of Florida.

Biographie Steven P. Siptrott - Mr. Siptrott has served as a Vice President of the Advisor’s affiliate, Bluerock Real Estate, L.L.C. since 2012. Previously, Mr. Siptrott was an Associate for Arsenal Real Estate Partners, a real estate investment management firm serving a variety of institutional clients that include pension plans, foundations, endowments from August 2011 to October 2012, and an Associate with The Townsend Group, one of the world’s largest institutional investment consultants dedicated to the real estate sector, providing investment services to many of the world’s largest and most sophisticated pension funds, endowments and Taft-Hartley plans from May 2010 to August 2011. Mr. Siptrott began his career as an Analyst with LaSalle Investment Management, the private equity investment arm of Jones Lang LaSalle, in 2007, where he was responsible for the asset management and portfolio management of a $5+ billion separate account. Mr. Siptrott received a B.A. in Economics in 2007 from the University of Chicago.

Biographie Randy I. Anderson Ph.D., CRE, serves as Chief Investment Officer of Griffin Capital Advisor, LLC, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Portfolio Manager, positions he has held since our formation. Additionally, Dr. Anderson serves as the Chief Economist of Griffin Capital Corporation, a position he has held since joining Griffin Capital Corporation in 2014. Dr. Anderson has also been Executive Vice President of Griffin Benefit-Street Partners BDC Corp. and its registered investment adviser, Griffin Capital BDC Advisor, LLC since May 2014. In addition, Dr. Anderson serves as President of Griffin Capital Asset Management Company, LLC, and has held such position since September 2015. From 2012-2013, Dr. Anderson held several senior executive positions at Bluerock Real Estate LLC. Dr. Anderson served as the Howard Phillips Eminent Scholar Chair and Professor of Real Estate at the University of Central Florida from 2008 through 2013, where he was responsible for growing the real estate program, including the establishment of the Professional MS in Real Estate. While at the University of Central Florida, Dr. Anderson was a member of the University Foundation Investment Sub-Committee which provides investment advice for the endowment, was the academic member of the Florida Association of Realtors Education Foundation Advisory Board, and was an ex-officio board member of the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors. In 2007, Dr. Anderson was President, Chief Executive Officer, and founding partner of Franklin Square Capital Partners, where he helped establish, strategically organize, and capitalize the firm. From 2005 through 2007, Dr. Anderson also served as Chief Economist for CNL Financial Group as well as Divisional President for CNL Real Estate Advisors. Prior to CNL, Dr. Anderson was the Chief Economist and Director of Research for the Marcus and Millichap Company from 2002 through 2005 and Vice President of Research at Prudential Real Estate Advisors from 2001 through 2002. Dr. Anderson is a former co-editor of the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and the Journal of Real Estate Literature. Dr. Anderson received the Kinnard Young Scholar Award from the American Real Estate Society, an award which recognizes outstanding real estate scholarship for young academics, served as the Executive Director for the American Real Estate Society, was named a Homer Hoyt Fellow and a NAIOP Distinguished Fellow, and has been invited to guest lecture at leading global universities. Dr. Anderson received his B.A. in Finance from North Central College in 1991 as a Presidential Scholar and holds a Ph.D. in Finance as a Presidential Fellow from the University of Alabama, where he graduated with highest distinction in 1996.
