Biographie	Matt is a Portfolio Manager for the Structured Securities team at FFTW and has responsibility for generating alpha ideas for structured securities positioning firmwide. Prior to his current role at FFTW, Matt’s responsibilities included managing MBS portfolios, and the MBS portion of Government and Multi-Sector portfolios, and identifying relative value opportunities within the MBS market. Prior to joining the mortgage desk, Matt worked in FFTW’s Global Securities Operations Team as a performance analyst. Matt joined FFTW in June 1999 and is based in New York. Before joining FFTW, he worked as a sales assistant in Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equity Sales Department. Matt has 13 years of investment experience.

Biographie	John Carey joined FFTW in 1998. John leads the Structured Securities and Short Duration Team and is a portfolio manager for the firm’s mortgage and short duration portfolios. His market responsibilities are focused on fixed-rate CMOs and CMO derivatives. John was previously a limited partner at Atlantic Portfolio Analytics and Management (APAM), where he traded mortgage-backed securities and agency CMOs. Prior to joining APAM, John was a senior vice president in charge of secondary marketing for the Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation.
