Vise à générer un revenu en intérêts supérieur à la moyenne et un certain potentiel de croissance du capital à long terme. Pour ce faire, le gestionnaire investit surtout dans des obligations de sociétés canadiennes dont la cote est généralement de BBB ou inférieure, y compris des obligations de sociétés en défaut, des actions privilégiées, des fiducies de revenu, des actions ordinaires donnant droit à des dividendes et des titres de créance à court terme, sans égard à la capitalisation boursière et au secteur d'activité. Il analyse les perspectives d'une émission en particulier et de son secteur de même que les facteurs économiques en général, y compris les conditions monétaires et le marché du crédit, ainsi que la courbe de rendement.

Prior to GMPIM, Greg was a Vice President and Partner at Marret Asset Management. Prior to Marret Asset Management, Greg was a Vice President & Director at TD Securities.

Doug graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1970 with a BA in Economics and continued his graduate studies at the University of Windsor. Prior to founding Deans Knight, Doug joined National Trust Company of Canada Limited in 1972, received a Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1979 and was a founding partner of M.K. Wong & Associates in 1980.
