Le Fonds cherche à accroître la valeur de votre placement à long terme. Dans des circonstances normales, le Fonds prévoit d’investir au minimum 80% de son actif net dans des actions ou des titres assimilés d’émetteurs établis dans le monde entier qui, de l'avis du Gestionnaire, sont exposés favorablement aux thèmes liés à l’investissement durable. Le Fonds investit essentiellement dans des actions de sociétés de différents secteurs présentant une exposition positive aux thèmes d’investissement durable de nature environnementale ou sociale qui participent à la réalisation des Objectifs de développement durable des Nations unies. Il vise à investir dans des titres assortis d’un potentiel de croissance supérieure des bénéfices et met l’accent sur la sélection des secteurs et des titres, tout en tenant compte de tendances à long terme susceptibles d’affecter plusieurs secteurs.

Biographie | Daniel C. Roarty was appointed Chief Investment Officer of AB’s Sustainable Thematic Equities team, which manages a suite of geographically diverse strategies dedicated to the achievement of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in 2013. Since assuming this role, he has become a thought leader in socially responsible investing, utilizing the SDGs as a road map for identifying thematic investment opportunities. He oversees the Economic Analysis team for AllianceBernstein Fixed Income and has primary responsibility for the economic and interest-rate analysis of the US. Previously, Carson was chief economist of the Americas for UBS Warburg, where he was primarily responsible for forecasting the US economy and interest rates. From 1996 to 1999, he was chief US economist at Deutsche Bank. While there, Carson was named to the Institutional Investor All-Star Team for Fixed Income.
